Soundbar Match exists to provide practical, jargon‑free guidance that maps directly to the rooms people live in. This policy defines how we choose topics, test products, score results, and keep our content independent and trustworthy.

Independence and Integrity

Our recommendations are never for sale. Manufacturers cannot preview or edit our verdicts. Any sponsorships or advertising are separated from editorial decisions. If we receive a sample or loaner, we disclose it and apply the same testing and scoring as purchased units.

Product Sourcing

We use a mix of purchased units, manufacturer samples, and time‑limited loans. Loaned units are returned or donated; they are not accepted as gifts. Where feasible, we spot‑check a second retail unit to validate findings.

Review and Publishing Process

• Topic selection is guided by reader needs inside our Room Profiles (Apartment Night, Family Room, Gaming Den, Projector Loft).
• Each review includes a transparent scorecard (Dialogue Clarity, Gaming Latency, Night‑Mode, Bass Containment, HDMI/eARC Reliability) and a setup playbook.
• Compatibility checklists confirm ARC/eARC behavior, optical fallbacks, Atmos/DTS support by app/device, and 4K/120 passthrough where applicable.

Updates and Corrections
